Regardless of one’s opinion about large-scale wind turbines and solar developments, the sites chosen for many of these industrial developments—often located in valuable intact critical habitats of the Great Dividing Range, and state forests, is inappropriate, not to mention bat, bird, insects and countless other species. There are now 41,000 wind turbines planned for Australia, and there is no end game in sight.
