All Australians are invited to participate in the statutory review of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) that commenced on 29th October 2019.
The review will look at how the EPBC Act has been operating, and any changes needed for Australia to support ecologically sustainable development into the future.

20th July 2020; In a media statement Professor Samuel AC says “(The) reform of the EPBC Act is well overdue and necessary to ensure current and future generations can enjoy Australia’s unique environment and iconic places.”
