The illusion of evidence based medicine, an op-ed published in the BMJ on March 16, 2022, points out that the system is now corrupt and needs major surgery to fix it.


Corporate concerns about Privacy and Intellectual Property Rights should not interfere with nor impede the interests of scientific rigour.

There is a moral obligation for transparency of research trial data and a need for independent experts in regulatory systems, to avoid corrupt outcomes.

Real people at real risk deserve no less.
